Candice Swanepoel might be fired from Victoria’s Secret for looking extremely skinny at its 2011 Swimwear launch this week. Yeah now that too could be a problem. In fact her weight loss has been quite dramatic.
Lately Candice revealed her newly scary, thin, skeletal frame at an L.A. fashion shoot at the Mondrian Hotel wearing tiger print bottoms and a black bra & it seems many were shocked. Two months ago, she was much healthier when she posed as the face of the lingerie house's Valentine's Day campaign.

“Like all Angels, Swanepoel, 22, is expected to be “healthy and muscular,” according to her Victoria’s Secret contract, says our source.
“There is a really clear criteria for both Angels and the catalogue. Their career path is Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue then to Angel, it’s the highest paying contract there is, period. The image is about being voluptuous, it’s not fat, but it’s curvy,” says the insider.
“But if you start to look skinny and ‘editorial print-like’ like fashion mag models, like undernourished, it gives the image the company does not want. Their shopper is older, their target is the Macy’s shopper. These are young women who feel pressure these models, she [Swanepoel] could lose her contract if she gets too thin.”
However, Candice has responded to the concern over her weight which goes something like this: “I am healthy and happy. I’m heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good.” Well Candice is good-looking & it will be a loss if they fire her but she has lost too much weight for sure. Earlier on, she claimed that extensive traveling was the reason behind her weight loss.
Another Victoria's Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio, was also criticized last year when she looked too thin in a bikini in St. Barts. However, Candice has been trying to put on weight.
