After shit loads of success from Ishqiya and bagging so many Best Actress Awards, it was quite a shocker for most people to hear that Vidya Balan is not going to be a part of the film sequel. While Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi will carry on the legacy in Ishqiya 2 as the male leads, Vidya will be out of the scene completely.
Director Abhishek Chaubey has confirmed the news that Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi will fall in love again in the sequel but with two different girls this time.
It is heard that Madhuri Dixit was approached to play the role of one of the leading ladies in the sequel but she asked a very high fee, so one cannot say much about who will be working in the second part.
Sadly, one looks back and remembers when Vidya Balan ambitiously asked Shahrukh Khan and Hugh Jackman to star with her in Ishqiya 2 at a media event...and now it will all be a dream for her. Anyway, she is a good actress and she did her part well in Ishqiya and will have much more to prove as an actress in the future.
