The only sexy woman I know

Marilyn has been one of my favorites, which is why I often share her pictures.

Anyhow, in my last write-up on Marilyn, we were kind of shocked as one of the magazines was low enough to print stuff that wasn’t necessary as she has been dead for years. It seems that some people are still jealous of her.

It’s true I don’t have eyes for desi beauty. I just can’t see anything. I also believe that the definition of beautiful or sexy ought to be different for different people. You just can’t impose your opinion on others. In my eyes, Kate Beckinsale, Liv Tyler, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Parveen Babi, Michelle Pfeiffer are some very beautiful, attractive women. Of course no one has to agree with me.

The other day this so-called friend of my sister was adamant that Indian women are just groomed, but Pakistanis are far more beautiful. I don’t why people even bother to compare. It isn’t essential…there is just no need. You know I have been here all my life & I don’t know what do they mean by beauty in the 1st place. In the late 80s & early 90s, I admit there were beautiful men & women, but now all of them look alike. I don’t want to besmear my post by mentioning certain names. All I want to say is that: You want to raise altars, raise them for the right people.

Beyond any reasonable doubt, Marilyn was/is & will always remain the sexiest woman. I don’t think anyone can beat that. Idiots are still imitating what she did years ago, but still look idiot. However, they would continue to embarrass us for a long time.

Marilyn Monroe again on the cover of Vanity Fair

Marilyn Monroe once again covers the June issue of Vanity Fair.

It seems Vanity Fair loves her or maybe Vanity Fair loves dead celebrities more than the ones who are alive.

Anyhow, I’m a huge fan of Marilyn, so I don’t mind seeing her pictures.

But they haven’t scribbled anything new. So what is the point of saying the same old thing? Moreover, it’s really low to tell us how jealous Marilyn Monroe was.

“Fox [Studios] should start paying as much attention to me as they are paying to Elizabeth Taylor,” Marilyn Monroe told Lawrence Schiller.

“If I do come out of the pool with nothing on, I want your guarantee that when your pictures appear on the covers of magazines Elizabeth Taylor is not anywhere in the same issue.”

We actually need a break.

I really don’t know whether to call this hilarious or not. Vanity Fair needs to raise its standard. There are too many celebrities who are still alive. Why do they have to dissect those who are dead?

When Hugh Hefner agreed to pay $25,000 for a nude shot of Marilyn—the most money Playboy had ever paid for a photograph—Schiller thanked her for creating such a big payday, joking, “See what tits ’n’ ass can do?” “That’s how I got my house and swimming pool,” Marilyn said, laughing. “There isn’t anybody that looks like me without clothes on.”

We all know this part but I felt really sorry for Marilyn. “I could tell you all about rejection,” Marilyn said to Schiller. “Sometimes I feel my whole life has been one big rejection.” “But look at you now,” he said. “Exactly,” she replied. “Look at me now.” Confused, Schiller protested, “You’re a star! Your face is on magazine covers all over the world! Everyone knows Marilyn Monroe!” “Let me ask you, Larry Wolf—how many Academy Award nominations do I have?” “I don’t know,” he said. “I do,” she said. “None.”

And it just doesn’t end there. We all know she wanted to have babies. We all know how she felt about being called Marilyn & her views on being a sex symbol used to fluctuate every now & then.

“I never wanted to be Marilyn—it just happened. Marilyn’s like a veil I wear over Norma Jeane.”

“It’s still about nudity. Is that all I’m good for?” she demanded of Schiller. “I’d like to show that I can get publicity without using my ass or getting fired from a picture,” she continued. “I haven’t made up my mind yet.”

And who knows maybe Schiller had been lying all along. There is so much contradiction. Just because she was a hyper sensitive person, it was easier to make different kind of stories about her.

She is dead & she has been dead for a long time. We need to respect that. I don’t see the point of printing this kind of crap. Yeah she was a sentimental & very sensitive person. She had faults, but then who doesn’t?

She was a beautiful woman & it’s saddening that her life was tragic. It’s even more saddening that some magazines can’t help being so low. I agree that actresses today aren’t as sexy & beautiful as Marilyn. And we would love to watch unseen photos of Marilyn anytime, but we are certainly not interested in stuff that we already know & photos that we have already seen.

I suspect this is how Marilyn will be jumping after reading so much crap about her.

Stupid trends

More than this question, ‘When did a bag of bones become hotter than a woman having full figure?’ I find this trend of telling us what is right for every woman rather dumb. Every 10 years the media has to tell us what is sexy. They want women to stay complex & worry about their weight. That is not fair...they should accept plus-size as well as zero size women without making noise.

Moreover, how can one size & shape be okay for everyone? That’s a pertinent question. One decade they tell us that you better become a bag of bones as that is sexy & the next decade, it’s another story. It’s good that in Israel they have banned very thin models. At least in that country, models don’t have to be anemic, bulimic or starve to be become size zero. Obsession with size zero is a dangerous thing but you also can’t make women put on weight overnight as suddenly it has dawned on some media people that having a full figure is all the more sexy.

Some women are extra thin without going on a diet ever...that is fine. But yeah if you have to starve yourself & die later on, then it's stupidity. But you can't blame these models. It's the pressure from the field. Physical fitness is something essential. And that surely doesn't mean starving yourself. But this entire trend that changes every 10 year is annoying. Sexy is something that every woman has the right to define for herself & it could be different for every woman. We don't need idiots to define that for us every 10 years. Having one shape & size is not possible, cause women have different frames (thin, medium & large)...they should accept everyone. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take care of your figure. Maybe you need to shed weight & you should work on it.

Moreover, these kinds of trend & women like Samantha Brick & Sarah Barge breed complexes in other women. They make you wonder that something is missing. I’m also against this comparison between size zero & plus size models. There ought to be an end to this disgusting comparison. Whatever makes a woman happy, she should opt for that.

Honestly, when I look back…yeah I find women such Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Lauren, Elizabeth Taylor, Parveen Babi, Zeenat Aman far more sexy & beautiful than what I see today. I remember few days ago, they came up with the best beach body thingy & thank God Marilyn was on top of that list but some other women who have got full figures didn’t look all that great. It’s just that they were wearing bikinis & that’s the reason why the media thinks they are sexy. At the same time, some women walk in wearing nothing underneath their see through gowns & they too are regarded sexy by the media. I think we all need a break.

PEOPLE’s magazine has chosen Beyonce as the most beautiful woman this year but I just couldn’t understand the damn criteria for awarding the title to a woman who wears fur & doesn’t give a damn as to the sufferings of animals. What can we do if she has given birth to a baby this year? Is this a good enough reason to label someone as beautiful? She may talk about her love for her baby girl & how beautiful she feels at the moment, I guess any sane woman will be madly in love with her children, but a beautiful woman ought to be sensitive & caring about others. Anyone can be sensitive about himself/herself & about their own kids.

Anyhow, what is beautiful & sexy for one person may not be beautiful & sexy for another. This has nothing to do with jealousy, but we all admire different things & that’s our right. Since the media would never stop making these weird comparisons, I can’t say this nonsense should end, because I know it won’t. Moreover, some women are just extra thin & there's nothing appealing about them whereas some women are healthy, but they look extremely pretty. After having kids, many women tend to put on weight & in spite of trying hard, they somehow cannot loose that extra weight...now does that make them less attractive?  Some women try hard to put on weight & yet they never succeed.

I think size & shape could only matter to shallow people out there. I’d rather want a man who’d like me as a person than someone who is interested in me just because of my looks & figure. I’m all for physical fitness but frankly speaking, I really don’t know what is going on diet means, cause I’ve never tried it out in my life. There are several other healthy ways to keep yourself fit. And what I think about myself is far more important than what the world is telling me.

I think we need to get rid of complexes & make it a better world. Telling others what is right for them ain’t going to work. We must accept everyone the way they are. Anyone can be beautiful…you just have to have the eye for that person. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder & I don’t think it has anything to do with what media thinks shamelessly every decade.

Many a times we say women have the right to be strong. In the same way, women have the right to define sexy for themselves & stay happy!

New pictures of Marilyn Monroe

Unseen photos of Marilyn keep on circulating on the net. I don’t know anyone who is still so very famous after her death.

Anyway, these photos feature in a new book Marilyn By Magnum, which is published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her death.

These pics were taken by photographer Philippe Halsman in 1952.

This woman was really beautiful. But what I find really weird & low is how people still remind you that she couldn’t act & she just knew how to expose. Lots of women expose & try hard to look sexy, but I think it came naturally to Marilyn Monroe.

Unseen photos of Marilyn

These photos were taken by her make-up artist Allan Whitey Snyder. Whenever Marilyn felt nervous on the set, she would ask her make-up artist to photograph her & that used to calm her down.

Whitney Snyder was her make-up artist for 16 years. They met when Marilyn Monroe had her first screen test at 20th Century Fox 1946. He was quite a trusted friend.

You could see a carefree Marilyn. Since she’s one of my favourites, I like posting on her. It’s not much fun when you post covers of several artists. There’s nothing about the covers, except that they are celebrities. But Marilyn is someone who would always look sexy. She never looked mean and cunning how stars look these days.

The face of the 'ideal woman'

Australia's Marie Claire magazine has come up with their image of the ideal woman, plucking the best features of some of the world's most famous celebrities and composing them into one.

On & off, they come up with such ideal faces. Naturally two questions pop up: what do you think? Is it that perfect?

I believe this kind of hard work gives rise to complexes. As it is, many people are not satisfied with their looks & then magazines tell them that one ought to have small, streamlined nose & this kind of jaw & that kind of lips.

It’s true looks can be bought, but innumerable people cannot afford to waste money on surgery.

And yeah I don’t find this face perfect. I think a perfect face ought to be one of some goddess. When we look at that person, we become speechless. I don’t see Aphrodite or Athena anywhere. I believe God has created better faces; they may have flaws but they don’t look fake.

These are the most requested looks of celebrities but many people will not find every celebrity that they have included all that beautiful, so to speak. They seem to have missed out names of really beautiful women such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Sophia Lauren, Audrey Hepburn, Kim Basinger, Kate Beckinsale & Marilyn Monroe. These six faces are far better than this one perfect face.

Marilyn Monroe during a photo shoot

Marilyn Monroe was definitely one of the most glamorous celebrities & in this particular image, Eve Arnold who died last month captured a vulnerable looking Marilyn Monroe. Speaking of which reminds me so many celebrities who believe they can look something like Monroe & that’s more like a nightmare for all of us. She’s looking back over her shoulder as if someone’s making her hair for a photo shoot & she has that naïve look.

And all those people who are suffering from complexes owing to their weight problem can see that even Marilyn Monroe was not skinny at all & yet she’s still regarded as the sexiest woman. So relax & enjoy your life!

Courtney Stodden unleashed her inner Marilyn Monroe

Although Courtney Stodden is something of a bomb shell…so I’ve heard but I don’t agree with it. However, she has made a big mistake when she decided to channel her predecessor Marilyn Monroe.

Anyway, she seems to have a good time giving these seductive shots. And yes she has done her best to look something like Marilyn. Moreover, she’s a huge fan of Marilyn but I don’t think ardent fans of Marilyn have ever insulted her this badly.

She told Radar Online: ‘I love Marilyn Monroe. My shoes and hands were a perfect fit. This was so much fun. Marilyn is an idol of mine.’

I think the shoes are terrible & why the hell is she wearing black bra! I think she’s the only one who could look at her shoes & hands in that way. Having an idol doesn’t mean you should copy everything that person did half a century ago.

Seriously I’m not being biased but what the hell is she trying to prove in the first place. Is she trying to crucify us online? This has been pure torture. I have tormented myself. I don’t have words to express my disgust. I pity the photographer. What can any sane person do if someone is hell bent to pose more like a clown? Now if this what happens when you unleash your inner Monroe, then it's better that you don't.

Marilyn Monroe is crowned best beach body of all time

Can you believe it even after fifty years, Marilyn is considered not just sexy but recently she has been named the Top Beach Body Of All Time! This is definitely a big achievement. This clearly indicates that people are not obsessed with size zero as such. In fact ultra-slim women like Kate Moss, Miranda Kerr and Victoria Beckham couldn’t make it to the list of top beach body.

The top 20 beach bodies of all time are: Marilyn Monroe, Christina Hendricks, Ursula Andress, Kim Kardashian, Tulisa Contostavlos, Raquel Welch, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Childs, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Kelly Brook, Beyonce Knowles, Tyra Banks, Brook Shields, Elle Macpherson, Kim Cattrall, Rihanna, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Aniston, & Goldie Hawn.

It means the craze after size zero is definitely on the decline. Too bad! And who knows maybe the time of plus size models too will come & that’s going to be a nightmare.

Btw, Marilyn Monroe's curvaceous figure, which her dressmaker claimed measured 37-23-36 - is best seen in films such as Some Like It Hot and the Misfits, in which she models an array of swimwear.

Black & white photos of Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn was just 24 when these photos were taken by LIFE photographer Ed Clark & the strange thing is that these pictures were not even published when Marilyn became famous. The images were discovered as LIFE magazine underwent the daunting task of digitalizing each negative from every photo shoot. They were hidden in a drawer for 50 years.

Even Marilyn Monroe groomed so much with time but she always had that charm. Many try to copy her & they invariably fail but this nonsense would go on till the end of time I suppose.

Most Iconic photo portraits of all time

These are actually Terry O’Neill favourite pictures. Well I like the portraits of Audrey Hepburn & Terence Stamp. Audrey Hepburn really had class. I haven’t seen any actress of her caliber anywhere in the world. I believe I could only say this thing for her – she was truly class apart. I can’t say this for Marilyn or Elizabeth Taylor. However, they are also million times better off than the kind of women we have in the industry now. Even to this day, everyone’s trying hard to look as sexy as Marilyn, & they fail big time as it is beyond them, & Elizabeth Taylor has the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen.

You must check out the link as there are some more photos & they are equally fabulous.

Michelle Williams gives a glimpse of her racy side in GQ magazine

Michelle Williams is the woman who played the character of Marilyn Monroe in the movie My Week with Marilyn. And this Sunday she won the Golden Globe Award for the Best Actress. My Week with Marilyn is based on two books by Colin Clark & it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl. Basically in this one week, Marilyn is being escorted around Britain by Clark while her husband Arthur Miller has been away.

Actually this has been Marilyn Monroe inspired shoot for GQ magazine. Michelle Williams has tried her best to portray something like Marilyn but I think it’s kind of impossible to imitate the sexiest goddess I suppose & I really do not know if this so-called sexy photo spread with GQ magazine is sure to turn some heads. Wearing a platinum blonde wig and lashings of red-lipstick wouldn’t make anyone Marilyn Monroe.

Michelle William very rightly said:

“I wouldn’t say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being—being sexy. And I think because my character on Dawson’s Creek was sexy…sexualized…sexual…I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly.”

Not at all ma’am! We can see things pretty clearly. I just want to say one thing about this ‘sexy, sexualized, sexual’ part– I have been ill for the past 3 days & I’m about to faint right now. The standard of people has surely gone down. I’m sorry to say but I don’t see Michelle Williams sexy from any angle whatsoever & those who do, maybe they don’t have any taste. Moreover negative attention and connotations (if there had been any) ought to be taken as a compliment from those who don’t know what is sexy.

Playing the character doesn’t mean you become that particular person. I haven’t seen the movie & I’m sure Michelle Williams as an actor must have given it her best shot, but this entire comparison is laughable. Why do we keep on comparing people all the time? We just had one Marilyn & she’s dead, & we don’t want stupid people to besmear her sexy image. Anyone who portrays her is just an actor & that’s it.
