Lagi Aaj Sawan - Chandani

Lagi Aaj Sawan Ki Phir Woh Jhadi Hai from the movie Chandani is more than a monsoon song. It is not any romantic song sung in the rain. This song signifies the pain of living a life without one's loved one and associated it with memories of the person and the rain.

As far as the movie is concerned, Chandani is an ok flick. I hate the first half in which they have shown a very bubbly, cheap romance of Sri Devi and Rishi Kapoor. But I love the second (serious) half in which Vinod Khanna's character is more dominant.

I know it is sad and most people wouldn't want to associate rain with sadness, but it is such a nice song I couldn't resist putting it my collection here.
