It matters not who you love

“It matters not who you love, where you love, why you love, when you love or how you love, it matters only that you love.”

Let it be – The Beatles

This is such a meaningful song & it’s sure to lift your spirit when you’re down.

And then Paul McCartney has a very soft & sweet voice. It’s like he’s singing for kids.

Suffering is a part of life & no one is that lucky not to know dark hours. I guess everyone does & those who don’t...maybe they are the reasons why we have problems in this world. We all go through terrible phases. Some come out of it & some don’t. This song is for all those who are struggling.

Many a times, even I felt God is silent, but He doesn’t ever let us down. I know people who have faced things you can’t even imagine. I know rape victims & believe me things are extremely tough on certain individuals. Rape is just one problem & there are many such problems that could make life utterly unbearable. I don’t even think problem is the right word. We just have no fucking clue as to what it’s like for them. Some people just complain about petty stuff without ever thinking about others who are silently suffering. And some people just go on judging others & their choices. Life is very strange.

Anyhow, stay strong & always remember:

“There will be an answer, let it be.”

We’ve got this gift of love

"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it."

Pipes of Peace – Paul McCartney

This is such a beautiful song. And I have a thing for soft voice, so I love it even more. I suspect I’m in love with every guy who has a soft voice :P

This ought to be the message that we need to spread:

“Won’t you show me how to play the pipes of peace?”

And “That the people here are like you & me.”

Once we realize that, we might become better humans & stop hurting others. And I’m not just talking about wars. Even in everyday life some people seem to be on a battle field & they have no reason to be there, but I guess they enjoy hurting others & waging wars just to belittle others & insult them in any way they can. Bullies are one such example & they are present everywhere. What’s not done in battle fields, they make sure they carry out that ugliness wherever they can.

Anyway I really like these lines:

“I light a candle to our love
In love our problems disappear.”

Maybe they do. Maybe they don’t. It depends a great deal on the other party as well.

And

“Help them to learn
Songs of joy instead of burn, baby, burn
Let us show them how to play the pipes of peace.”

I love both John Lennon & Paul McCartney. They were far ahead of time. Even today many people still belong to the Dark Ages & they refuse to enlighten their closed minds. They kill people for having different views.

I believe in everything

“I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?”

John Lennon

Our society is run by insane people

“Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.”

John Lennon

I think John Lennon had an unusual mind. It was way too beautiful & his death has been the biggest loss ever.

Very few individuals are like that & I think it’s even more difficult for mediocrity to accept such individuals. People are not even capable of understanding the obvious. But he expressed himself through his art. He stood up for things & I don’t think many people have that kind of courage. His thinking was a little too much for closed minds & fanatics.

He’s one of my favourite personalities. He was just too impressive. Maybe that’s why he was murdered.

He was so right:

“Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.”

And why has God stopped making such guys? It literally hurts.

Nobody Told Me – John Lennon

Love the lyrics of this song. You just go on thinking & John Lennon had a beautiful voice.

It’s very tough on me to choose the best lines, cause every line has a message & every line is a gem.

All of it still happens & will continue to happen.

For instance, ‘Everybody's talking and no one says a word.’

I don’t think anyone could have said it in a more appropriate way. People just go on talking & still don’t say what they must. What a pity!

‘Always something happening and nothing going on
There's always something cooking and nothing in the pot’

This is exactly what is happening now. Right?

‘They're starving back in China so finish what you got’

Yeah strange days indeed! People are starving in so many places, we don't even think about. How can we? We don't know what it's like when you don't get food.

I like the way he says Katmandu & most peculiar mama.

And this part is so very true:

‘There's a place for us in the movies you just gotta lay around’

Smokers must know this for sure…still I don’t understand why do we go on smoking:

‘Everybody's smoking and no one's getting high’

It’s one of my favourite songs. It’s amazing that eventually we learn that there are days just like these & we get used to it. Amusing, is it?

FBI Sets Up A Site - The VAULT

FBI has set up a new website where it is posting some more than 2000 files on many people and bizarre stuff. From Beatles to UFOs, from KFC Col Sanders to foreign spies and much more.

The website is called 'the Vault'. It has very old files, scanned papers put into digital copies and classified under headings like 'Unexplained Phenomenon' and 'Foreign Counter Intelligence'.

Some of the stories they have are weird like KFC's Col Sanders received some handwritten letter in 1974 warning him that his life is in grave danger and might be murdered.

Another one is on rapper Notorious B.I.G. that Los Angeles police officials were involved in his killing in 1997. While one file is on John Lennon describing him as a radical drug user and that he supported left-wing causes. Other files include cases of Michael Jackson and his child molestation scandals and much more.

Peace

Everybody is talking about peace, but nobody does anything about it in a peaceful way.
~ John Lennon
