Ranbir Kapoor’s interview

Yesterday I saw the interview of Ranbir Kapoor on TV & it’s incumbent on me to write something about it. I kind of feel guilty. When that Deepika, & Sonam episode with Karan happened, everyone enjoyed bitching & adding spice to it. We, bloggers, were not any different. In fact at that time, Z & I were quite active. Now things have changed. I hardly ever tweet anything I write on Speak Your Mind & Ulta Phuta, but at time, we wanted traffic on our blog.

What I like about this guy is how he responded. He’s right that Deepika could have called him rather than talking about whatever the problem was on international TV but he just couldn’t understand as to why Sonam did what she did. Anyhow, he said that people can ridicule him. He just doesn’t seem to justify his actions.

I even watched that episode of Koffee with Karan. Deepika was hurt & bitter. She needed to take it out. Yeah the approach was not correct. But when anyone talks on such forums, it means there ought to be gap between the two people. What was Sonam’s problem is beyond us. Maybe some people just enjoy bitching & she got one opportunity & she made the most of it. They both sounded like two females who couldn’t even finish high school whereas Ranbir sounded like an educated guy. And that is one of the reasons I decided that I must write something on it.

Now I can’t say I take my words. At that time his sexual capacity was so much in question & according to Deepika, he had zero sex appeal. Moreover, he seemed like a reckless guy who’s ever ready to screw. That’s why she wanted to gift him a pack of condoms. What else do you expect of us? We are not saints. It wasn’t even the media. It was what we heard on TV that made us scribble things. I’m not sorry for what I said.

Anyhow, Ranbir Kapoor definitely sounds much better than the kind of image the media has created about him. He even said that he’s single & shy. It’s amazing that every guy turns out to be shy. Actually I’ve never really liked shy people as such & it’s hard to believe that Ranbir is shy but if he says so, then maybe he is.

We have never seen Sonam Kapoor do any acting in these three-four years of her acting career. She did, however, make a name for herself as far as being a fashionista is concerned.

She is the style icon in her generation. Till now she has shown her style, glamour and cuteness but for the first time she has revealed her sexy side.

No body knows as to what made her to take this bold move but she has now appeared in a bare piece of clothing on the cover of Marie Claire's June issue.

I feel she looks really cute and elegant but she doesn't pull of this sexy image very nicely. Sometimes, some people don't look that hot showing off their skin and perhaps she seems to be one of those girls. Anyway, her fans will be more than happy to see the sexy side of hers.

Ranbir Kapoor Is Upset With Priyanka Chopra

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra became great friends while shooting for their movie Anjana Anjani. However, when the two came together again to work in BARFI - the friendship has become too bitter.

It seems that both the actors no longer share the same comfort or friendly aura anymore. According to sources, the trouble began when Priyanka continued making fun of Ranbir's scandals and rumored affairs with so many actresses from Katrina Kaif to Nargis Fakhri to even Ileana D'Cruz on the sets of BARFI.

Apparently, Ranbir was not happy that she even mentioned Ileana D'Cruz who is making her Hindi film debut with BARFI. He felt hurt that Priyanka's fun and mockery would have made the new girl quite uncomfortable with him and others.

Remember the old episode when Deepika and Sonam made fun of Ranbir's casanova image in Koffee with Karan? That episode had left his entire family quite upset with Karan Johar and Rishi Kapoor bombarded media with complaints against Karan Johar that he instigated his guests to talk bad of other actors.

I guess Ranbir Kapoor should not care much because it is a known fact that he is a casanova. Honestly speaking, the man might have some charm that everybody does fall for him so easily. But this particular Kapoor family is very sensitive about their image, scandals etc.

However, Priyanka Chopra must act her age. Did anyone remind her that just because she is working with younger men doesn't mean we have forgotten she has been working in the industry for so long. Apparently, she even looked older and irritating in Anjana Anjani opposite Ranbir who was acting so naturally. She is a senior actress, yet she went on and on making fun of the actor and his illicit affairs by taking names. She did go a bit overboard I feel. Whatever happened to the word 'Professionalism'?

And let me remind you again...just recently we heard of a dramatic news that Priyanka is so freaked out because of her mentally challenged role in BARFI that she needs perfect isolation and quiet to perform the scenes. And now we are hearing of her mockery stories on the sets of the very same film! Not good Priyanka!

Sonam Kapoor hospitalized due to over-exertion

Sonam Kapoor was admitted in hospital yesterday following severe exhaustion. She also had temperature.


According to sources, Sonam had returned from ‘Thank You’ promotion trip in Dubai and once she landed in Mumbai she collapsed due to fatigue.


Her father revealed that she had a hectic schedule & she couldn’t even sleep properly all this while. After shooting for an endorsement, she went to Jaipur as brand ambassador for a luxury car. She also shot for the flim Mausam & then she rushed to Dubai for the promotion of Thank You.


“Late in the evening, it was learnt that Sonam needed to be hospitalised. She needed complete rest. Sonam will be discharged from the hospital over the weekend," added Anil Kapoor.

Sonam Kapoor Is The Gadget Girl

Sonam Kapoor, the ultimate style guru of Hindi cinema (although she can not act as yet) has another achievement to her credit. On Monday, she was named the brand ambassador of the year at the NDTV Good Times Gadget Guru Awards 2011 in Delhi.

Sonam was very excited. She said she was a gadget freak to the core. She cannot live without her laptop, cellphone, iPad, iPod etc. She said it is a part of our generations daily life. However, the gadgety girl expressed that though technology is good, people should know the pros and cons of it. They should use it to express themselves and should not use it in a negative manner.

Sonam is an active user of twitter but she admitted that even she has blocked a few crazy and obnoxious people there. Sonam is one of the very few female actresses who is considered to be tech savvy and she likes it that way it seems.

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most promising young actors of Hindi cinema. Audiences love his looks and performance. And it seems the man is quite a charmer because every lady he interacts with falls for him be it Sonam, Deepika, Katrina, Nargis...barring aunty Konkona Sen who is very faithful to her husband. Even Priyanka started talking like a baby whenever she appeared with Ranbir on any show during Anjana Anjani promotion. Such is the effect of this Kapoor guy.

Advertisers find Ranbir extremely appealing and this is why he has been endorsing brands from the very beginning. We have seen him in commercials for Pepsi, Nissan Motors Micra, Panasonic to take a few big names. 

Now the confirmed news is that Ranbir is the new brand ambassador for Hero Honda and will be promoting the motorbike.He was chosen as the ambassador because of his instant connect with the masses and classes alike. As he will become the next ambassador for Hero Honda, the new tagline "Taking for a ride" will be used to improve the brand's image.

Looking at the way Ranbir is going - he seems to be the new superstar in the next few years for sure.
