I really like her attitude towards life. She has given fabulous tips. It’s just that you have to be human enough to understand the depth of what she has been saying.
“I just would like people to know that I’m not some empty-headed fashionista who thinks about nothing but getting dressed. People ask me all the time, ‘What do you think about when you get up in the morning about planning an outfit?’ My god, if I did that, I would have to kill myself.”
She sounds so down to earth. And this is what I like best:
“If God is good to you, you have to give back.”
Wish people could think like her but more or less, people are just age conscious at just about any age.
“I think it’s blessing when you age…you should take advantage of it...And some of your experience can benefit other people.”
You know I have met some really fake old people as well. And it’s all the more suffocating to put up with them. Iris is a fashion icon, but she talks like a good human & that’s what matters. I hardly get impressed now, & I kind of become uneasy when someone tries to impress me but I think she’s impressive. I don’t think I ever called anyone impressive in these four years :P For the most part, they are all very worldly, fake & materialistic. And it’s hard to come across a genuine soul. In fact it reminds me of how I got impressed by Frederick the Great once upon a time. It's a similar kind of experience.
