Thomas Beatie is the guy who is still referred to as ‘the pregnant man’ & many people disapprove of it for obvious reason. I don’t want to get into this. Actually in the afternoon I read about the break-up of Thomas Beatie & Nancy. This too is not the reason why I’m writing on Thomas Beatie, cause I don’t care whether anyone gets married or divorced. The reason that has motivated me to post something on him is how people bully anyone who is not like them.
Most of you must be aware that he has changed his sex as he felt he was trapped in the wrong body. Later on when he had kids, naturally he was big news. And he’s got three kids. Of course both Nancy & Thomas faced a lot of stress over the years.
‘We have had a rough ride,’ said Beatie.
‘We have had death threats, crazies. I’ve been called a freak. The really nasty stuff has come online, with email, Facebook and YouTube.
‘Some of it has just been weird — such as people going to Hallowe’en parties dressed as me, “The Pregnant Man”.
'Some of it has been terrifying. One man has made videos pretending he has kidnapped Susan. He has a Susan doll and he hits her over and over. It’s sick.
‘The FBI have been involved and they monitor things for us. The world is full of crazy people and we have to have our wits about us.’
I think this is sickening. Why do people give him death threats? He’s not imposing his opinions on anyone. He’s not asking people to have sex reassignment surgery. He’s not preaching that others too could be trapped in their bodies. Jeering at such individuals is a norm. People need a reason to make fun of others. They try to find faults in others to satisfy their own insecurities I suppose. Once they find some kind of flaw, they attack & make sure to crush the victim. And no one would spare Thomas Beatie for changing his sex & then he went ahead & got pregnant three times. Oh, & this is just too much for people who just can’t help thinking about others!
I remember people were also giving death threats to the Reply Girl who makes Youtube videos to earn money. Psychos believe it’s their right to threat just about anyone who is not following the crowd. In any case, people have been murdered for having different views & beliefs.
And what I find extremely disgusting is that they even have the audacity to drag his kids in this bullying campaign against Thomas. There was no need to make a video on Susan being kidnapped. They need to spare the kids. They can go on hating Thomas Beatie for his choices, which is absurd, cause it’s his life & I don’t think people have the right to judge him. But still they will go on hating him & so they can go to hell for all I care.
Bullying someone for his choices & making his life a mess is a crime. Thomas Beatie is human just like you & me. It’s just that he made a choice, cause he wasn’t satisfied. Does this give people the right to judge him & insult him for the rest of his life?
All I know is that Thomas Beatie has been judged too badly by people who don’t even know him. God’s wrath hasn’t befallen upon him & nature treats him just the way nature treats everyone. Then why do people have issues with him?
