This has been quite a frank interview. Scarlett talks about her divorce with Ryan Reynolds, her unlikely relationship with Sean Penn & her new relationship with Nate Naylor.
The new man Nate Naylor is an advertising executive.
I think Sean Penn & Scarlett Johansson looked quite an unusual couple & I liked them.
“We spent time together, yeah. I never put a title on it, really, but we were seeing each other. He’s a remarkable person. He really is.”
Just like any normal person, divorce was naturally not a very nice experience for her.
“[The divorce] was horrible. Of course it’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out. This was something I never thought I would be doing. And there’s no way to navigate it. Nobody can give you the right answer. It’s never anything you want to hear. It’s a very lonely thing. It’s like the loneliest thing you’ll ever do, in some way.”
However, she had no regrets about the marriage.
“It was a beautiful thing. The falling in love and getting married and making that commitment.. I think it’s nice to know that you’re capable of loving somebody in that way. I think it’s a rare opportunity.”
Now this interview definitely doesn't sound all that made-up or anything (but that's how I feel when we go through most interviews), cause she wasn’t putting ideas in our heads. She was being honest about her relationships & when someone is being honest, it shows. I also like the fact that she has no regret about her marriage & that she still regards it as a beautiful experience. I like such people.
Oh yeah I haven’t said anything about the cover! I don’t like it as such.
