Keira Knightley is on the cover of Interview’s April 2012 Issue.
I give points to the make-up artist. It might be call drastic but it’s not bad. The red lip color is definitely sexy.
However I don’t find the piercing stare of Knightley all that striking. I think 80s was full of glamour. It was also a little unusual but not this scary as the cover. It was spooky but not scary.
We were kids at that time, but I think over all people looked quite chic. It was the only time when we used words such ‘ultra-mod.’ Now we just can’t, cause we don’t see such people anymore.
Anyhow, people love this cover as they regard it as a seriously gorgeous image. In her interview with David Cronenberg, she talks about “Acting, Spanking, and Armageddon”. You know, the usual. In fact these days, she talks too much about spanking.
“I hate knowing too much when I’m going to the cinema,” she tells Interview magazine. “I don’t want to know that the actor has just gone through a divorce. I don’t want to know that the person is an alcoholic.”
Yeah but what’s the point? I also read somewhere that she works like anything & what else people expect of her. She works for herself. People are only interested in a star as long as he/she gives good performance.
“I know with ‘A Dangerous Method’ people liked the spanking an awful lot. But I’m not quite sure. It’s weird, though, with the spanking. When we were in Venice, I didn’t get asked about it once . . . But in England, it was pretty much the only thing I got asked about. I’m not quite sure what that says about the English.”
Well it’s just Keira who has been talking about spanking ever since her film A Dangerous Method has been released. Maybe Brits are curious about spanking, but then I suppose any average person is. You want to talk about your spanking scenes, we don’t have issues, but why drag people? However, only Viggo happens to be the thing in the movie. I don’t think spanking or any other thing stand that much a chance when he is around.
Anyhow, I’m sure she’d do justice to Anna Karenina.
