Stray dog Xiaosa runs 1700 km from China to Tibet

This is such a cute story & beyond any reasonable doubt Xiaosa is an amazing dog.

I read this story yesterday but owing to some reason, I couldn’t post it on the blog. This stray dog has completed a 1700 km journey. Actually one of the cyclists gave him food & he joined the cyclists.

He ran with them for 20 days and covered up to 60km a day. He also apparently climbed 10 mountains higher than 4,000 meters during her run. And you could see he is so damn excited & happy in the video.

Xiaosa doesn’t look like stray to me. I think someone could have abandoned this dog.

Btw, these cyclists also started a blog about Xiaosa's adventures & it attracted a number of fans. One of the team members most probably will adopt this wonderful creature. I’m not so sure who. As in one of the dailies, they say Xiao Yong will adopt him & in another, it’s Zhang. Moreover, I’m also confused about the gender of dog. Somewhere it is male & somewhere it’s female. Anyhow, many people have shown interest in adopting him.

There is no confusion about the name though. The nickname is a combination of "xiao" meaning little and the last syllable of Lhasa, where they ended their race.
 The cyclist named Zhang said:

"We thought the dog was encouraging us, and wanted others to know its story."

Wang Zi, another cyclist said, "She may be the first dog who ran to Lhasa along this route."

Moreover Zhang said, "I would like to take the dog home and take care of her. She has been a stray on the road for a long time. She needs a home."

Some of the comments of internet users are:

"Even a stray dog can stick to its dream. Who says a dream is too far to reach?" said one internet user.

"We like [Xiaosa], envy that he can do what he wants, envy his endless running. Perhaps we need ideals too much," said another.

Truly many people have been inspired by his adventures. I don’t think you need to envy this dog…you too can follow your dreams. He just tells you that nothing is impossible.

I’m so touched that one person gave me food & he followed them all the way. Indeed dogs are the most loyal animals. Unlike humans, they never take you for granted.
