Kasi & Mtani are two best friends who are celebrating one year of their friendship. What makes this friendship unique is the fact that one is cheetah & another is Labrador retriever.
Last March, they found a three week old male cheetah who needed round the clock care. When cheetahs are young, they tend to make strong bond with their siblings & that gave the animal park to search for a lifelong companion for the baby cheetah. They found a six week old Labrador retriever at the shelter who had all the traits they needed in a good pal for the little cheetah.
They named the cheetah Kasi, which means “one with speed,” and they called the puppy Mtani, meaning “close friend.” In the beginning, they used to keep an eye on them.
We wish Kasi & Mtani to celebrate many such birthdays of their friendship. It’s really hard to find a good, sincere pal. They are both very lucky to have each other. And they also look very cute.
