Stop blaming the breed

Pit bulls are just as loving as any other dog. They should stop labeling the poor dog as a dangerous breed. If there is anyone to blame, it's the owner...why can't they get it? But how can they as they believe in discrimination, which is why they can't even spare innocent animals! Frankly speaking, I don't know what do they mean by a dangerous breed...even the stray dogs I'm friends with have never been a threat…Where I live, it’s regarded as a posh area, & there they shoot stray dogs every now & then. It’s that posh. But these dogs haven’t harmed anyone. If you’re being nice to them, they even let you pet their puppies. And I’m not the only one who is friends with these dogs. There are four, five other people. All of us are not mad.

I did mention in one of my write-ups that we have a very sweet Rottweiler too in our neighborhood. He’s the sweetest Rottweiler I’ve ever met & the credit actually goes to the owner. You all know that we have heard all kinds of stories about Rottweiler as well.

I wouldn’t lie but at the clinic I’ve met some really ferocious & dangerous dogs. Moreover the owners are proud that these dogs kill cats on a daily basis. We all know who’s to blame. It’s not the dog, it’s the owner who is responsible for the mess.

We should stop blaming Pit Bull or just about any breed, cause they have irresponsible owners. Wish we could change the idiotic views but it just doesn’t seem possible. Whenever I speak about the rights of animals, someone or the other tells me how he has encountered a dangerous dog or how somebody’s pet dog harmed someone. And it has been impossible to convince them it’s the fault of an irresponsible owner who has trained the dog badly.

I have also read too many stories in which cops shoot the dog just for barking. A dog will bark when you’re gonna point the gun towards his owner. It’s a natural thing, but they just shoot the dog for barking. I haven’t read a single case in which a dog attacked those cops. But most probably, the sound of their own fart scares them so much that a bark of dog must be too much a thing for them…naturally what else can we expect of them? Friendly Pit bulls have been snatched away from their families just because they barked at a stranger. Every dog barks at a stranger. Is this fair? Fine. If a dog attacks, then you do have the reason to take an action. But it’s ridiculous to snatch a dog cause it barks.

A dog has been the most loyal & loving creature on this planet. Shame on people for treating them as dirt!

And there are certain people who are too breed conscious to even think about adopting any stray puppy, but let me tell you one thing about strays – they make excellent watchdogs. They protect you like anything & they are very, very, sweet. They take time to open up & yes, they are scared of humans, cause humans haven’t been very nice to them. But they are wonderful creatures.

We are humans & we have to bear in mind that dogs are animals. Of course they can attack & no one is saying that you should put your infant right in front of them. Some breeds are more aggressive but again it’s how the owner deals with the dog that’s going to make a difference.

I’m not saying that you should agree with me. I’m fond of every animal & I don’t like it when they fix the blame on any breed for their own reckless behavior & action. Accidents happen. Animals are animals but humans have been gifted with brain cells for a reason. And I don’t think hating any specific breed will solve the problem.
