I thought of writing about it but within few hours, the Youtube video of Kate Upton was banned. Without the clip, I didn’t have any story. But people are still talking about it, which means it’s still a hot topic.
I have nothing against Kate Upton. She’s a 19 year old model who is having fun & it’s nice to see that someone is enjoying life. Sometimes I do feel she’s trashy but that’s about it.
I saw the video & believe me, I couldn’t see any reason as to why it was removed from Youtube. Her moves weren’t any different. Fine. She was wearing a tiny bikini but still those hip hop moves weren’t all that indecent. We have seen far more unrefined & obscene stuff that can still be viewed on Youtube.
Most probably people didn’t like the idea that it was actually Kate who was dancing to the Cat Daddy during a shoot with Terry Richardson. Some people believe that the photo shoot was taken to another level when this video of Cat Daddy was uploaded. I really do not know, but I just couldn’t see anything obscene about it.
Yes Mr. Terry Richardson is strange but sometimes he does good work. But if people call that video salacious just because people involved in it are Kate Upton & Terry Richardson…then that’s not fair.
Although Youtube disabled the video as it was violating their nudity policy, but Terry Richardson got around it by uploading the dance via Vimeo on his blog. And thank you so much for that Mr. Richardson! But nevertheless he remains creepy in my eyes. It’s my hard luck that I only cover stories of people that are being photographed by him.
I don’t find the video cute or sexy or creepy. It seems as if an over-excited teenager is having fun. Most probably, it makes hypocrites a bit nostalgic & so they are calling it salacious, vulgar, & creepy, cause they can’t make those moves anymore.
