An Afghan woman has given birth to six babies (three boys & three girls); they are well but underweight.
I really do not know what to believe. In one report, they are saying she was not aware that she was carrying six babies. In another one, I read that she tried to abort after learning she was pregnant with six."I even jumped from a wall but nothing happened to them," Gul told Reuters.
Someone is of course lying. I guess they have made up this part about aborting & trying to jump from a wall just to harm the babies. If a pregnant woman would jump from a wall, something would happen. How did she manage to climb the wall in the 1st place? It’s not that easy & I don’t think any pregnant woman would dare to do something of the sort unless she’s totally out of her head.
Even her husband is worried about the future of the kids. And it’s even more depressing when you learn certain facts about Afghanistan:
Afghanistan has one of the highest maternal and infant mortality rates in the world. One in every 10 children dies by the time he’s five year old.
Afghanistan remains one of the most dangerous places in the world for a pregnant woman or a young child.
