I haven't seen the movie but I think this is a very beautiful song. Even 'Jo baat tujh mein hai' & 'paaon chhoo lene do' are really good songs. Of course Pradeep Kumar looks more like an uncle but one can ignore it I suppose.
You have to give points to both Lata & Rafi. This is a timeless song.
And I really like these lines:
"Ye maana hamein jaan se jaana parega
Par ye samajh lo tumne jab bhi pukaara
Humko aana padega."
I really don't have words for these lines:
"Hum apni wafaa pe na ilzaam lenge
Tumhe dil diya hai tumhe jaan bhi denge"
I seriously wonder where are all these people who know the true meaning of love. We just have movies & books about them. I don't see anything of the sort in real life.
