The so-called Goddess is back with another lame theory

I thought it was over, but Samantha Brick would not leave us in peace. She’s back with yet another stupid theory to prove that she’s damn beautiful.

Any genuinely beautiful man/woman doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone I guess. And Samantha Brick behaves as someone who has doubts & yet she projects the kind of image in which she’s too damn confident about her ordinary looks.

Alright. Now this deluded Helen of Troy of the digital age reveals the secret of her self-belief. It’s funny how it changes with every lousy piece she writes. Anyway, this time while reflecting over nothing…oh no this time while reflecting on the same question as to why she’s so very confident about her looks, she came up with another lame excuse for being this beautiful. In fact this is the question she has scribbled in the boring article:

“Why, unlike so many members of my sex, does my cup runneth over with self-confidence?”

Because you’re nuts, Samanatha Brick but the answer she has provided is of course inevitable.

“The answer is simple: my beloved father, Patrick Brick. Ever since the day I came into this world, my dad, a retired nurse, has showered me with love and affection.”

I think every sensible parent showers his child with love & affection. It’s natural.

Anyhow, this so-called goddess went on narrating this fairy tale in which her father never gets tired of calling her beautiful. She has also quoted from here & there to prove her lousy point that the love of her dad has been the key to her being able to love herself. Which means if no one loves you, you should hate yourself. And last week when we were all trying our best to tell the truth that no one has ever dared to tell Samantha, it was this man, she instinctively turned to & again she heard lies about her beauty.

A normal parent loves his child, & both mother & father say nice things to kids. I don’t think Samantha Brick is any different. We all have heard nice things from our parents. My parents used to call me a doll when I was a kid & I used to get everything I ever asked for & I just have to raise my finger at that particular toy or object & my father used to get that thing for me…but that doesn’t mean I should go around writing idiotic articles calling myself a doll for the rest of my life or I should start painting myself as a doll as some kids are doing right now on Youtube just to prove that I’m still a doll, which I am not & never was. It’s the love & affection of parents & nothing else. Yes when parents say nice things to a kid, it makes him/her confident & that child doesn’t need to argue with the rest of the world about what he/she thinks of himself. That child wouldn’t need a single person to say yes; he would go on believing what he wants to believe. He wouldn’t give 2 fucks to the viewpoints of people. But Samantha Brick gives a damn & so she continues to write stupid write-ups saying the same stupid thing again & again.

When you make an argument, you need to support it with evidence. Samantha Brick has made one statement & yes she couldn’t support it with any evidence, since none of us is blind & we can see very clearly, cause we are not daddy. How her father treated her is irrelevant & how he thinks she’s beautiful means nothing to us. She wants us to know that she was/is badly desired when she mentions her boyfriends & how her daddy warned them not to mistreat Ms Samantha, cause she was Daddy’s little girl. She is not the only child who has been treated that way. It’s another thing some of us take the attention & love of parents for granted & some write stupid articles to tell us that they are really beautiful, cause daddy thinks so. It would have been so nice, if Daddy had taught his little girl there’s a thing known as complex & baby you’re suffering from it.

One valid point is that parents even find their not-so-cute looking child also cute & beautiful. They have the right to think so, because when you love someone, you see the face of God & naturally you find that person beautiful but if that child later on bothers the rest of us, that’s not right. Even when you like someone, you find that person beautiful but you can’t argue with everyone on this planet that he is as beautiful as God when he’s not. Again I’ve offended someone but the thing is…beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That’s it. And parents who really care about their kids often say things that the kid may not like but in order to open their child's eye, parents have to say such things.

It’s good if a woman approves of herself or regards herself as the most beautiful woman in the world. But that particular woman has no right to force us to say the same crap. You know one of my cousins believes in this thing, but she doesn’t bother anyone of us with irrelevant theories. It keeps her happy & that’s fine by all of us that she thinks she’s beautiful.

Samantha Brick is not at all satisfied otherwise she would just shut up. Her father & she can call all of us who do not agree with them sad people having shallow lives, but that wouldn’t alter the fact that Samantha Brick is not that beautiful as she wants us to believe. We really don’t care what she sees in the mirror. No wonder women don’t like to mingle with her! She has an annoying personality. She just doesn’t give up.

And just because we don’t agree with Samantha Brick, they call us sad & shallow :( lol We have the right to hold any kind of view & if that makes our lives sad & shallow, then seriously where do Samantha Brick, her daddy & her beloved Pascal stand? You have the right to express yourself but you don’t have the right to find faults with people for not agreeing with you & it’s really low to label someone as sad & shallow just because we can’t call an ordinary looking thing beautiful. We are more sinned against than sinning :P

Two sisters punished for wetting the bed

Two sisters Miley & Macy aged 3 & 1, were locked in -30F bedroom as a punishment for wetting the bed by none other than their mother’s boyfriend (Richard Tilden) in Barrow, Alaska. Both the girls suffered extreme hypothermia & the three year old died later on. The mother (Esther Edwards-Gust) who is an elementary school teacher is on the run but the boyfriend is in custody. There is also a 3rd sister named Sasha & no one knows as to where she is.

Police say the two girls last month were trapped overnight in their bedroom with a window open to temperatures that dropped to 30 degrees below zero.

So, these are children raised by normal people. And this is not the first time children have suffered at the hands of adults. Forget about the boyfriend who would be punished but what about the mother? Very conveniently she has fled! She doesn’t care about Macy & no one knows the whereabouts of Sasha.

Although in the picture, they look like a happy family, but what happened to Miley doesn’t seem like a normal thing. People do not even punish their pets for wetting the bed. It’s hard to believe there are humans who are punishing their own kids. And one of the kids is dead.

Parents refuse to read classics to children

A study has revealed that one in five parents have ditched the likes of Hans Christian Andersen or the Brothers Grimm in favour of more modern books. They say the stories are scary & children even cry after hearing them.

You know Hans Andersen is too depressing for children. I remember as a kid, all those stories used to bother me. I didn’t like how they ended. Everything seemed unfair but throwing away classics just like that seems not right either. I believe it gives an opportunity to children to think. The modern stories are just okay. I went through a couple of them but I don’t think they could beat the classics. However, it’s up to parents. I wonder if this step will raise better kids.

Anyhow, the top 10 fairy tales that parents no longer read out to children are:

Hansel and Gretel - Storyline about two abandoned kids is thought likely to scare children

Jack and the Beanstalk - Deemed too 'unrealistic'

Gingerbread Man - Parents uncomfortable explaining gingerbread man gets eaten by fox

Little Red Riding Hood - Deemed unsuitable by parents who must explain a girl's grandmother has been eaten by a wolf

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - The term 'dwarves' was found to be inappropriate

Cinderella - Story about a young girl doing all the housework was considered outdated

Rapunzel - Parents were worried about the focus on a young girl being kidnapped Rumpelstiltskin - Parents unhappy reading about executions and kidnapping

Goldilocks and the Three Bears - Parents say it sends the wrong messages about stealing

Queen Bee - Deemed inappropriate as the story has a character called Simpleton

Life is not a bed of roses. Once a child is five, he starts thinking. An average kid would think & raise questions unless he’s dumb. Some of the reasons these parents have given seem stupid. They find certain stories unrealistic. Fairy tales are supposed to be unrealistic, to some extent. Just because poor Cinderella was working like anything, they don’t want to read out this story to the kids as it’s outdated. Moreover, the word dwarf is inappropriate but they never refrain from making fun of a short person by using such words. Give me a break! They sound such hypocrites. Either they can't explain or maybe they are just plain stupid. They never mentioned the little match girl or the little mermaid; these stories are far more depressing but you can’t say such things don’t happen in real life. It’s nice they want to keep away kids from having ideas about kidnapping & stealing, but if they have it in them, they would steal & kidnap at some point.

By the time I was five, I used to buy any kind of story book. And that was possible as my mom read out stories to me. Moreover, my parents didn’t ever bother me as to what I should read. I think only a freaky parent would deprive his kid from reading classics of any kind whatsoever.

Little girl beaten up by a 2 year old nicknamed Chucky

It has been reported that Katie Ann Guttridge, aged 3 was beaten ‘black and blue’ by this particular out-of-control 2 year old girl who is nicknamed Chucky. Now Katie is scared to go to school. She’s even scared to be around other kids. She had to be taken to the hospital after the attack. And this was not the first time she has beaten up Katie. She has attacked Katie on four separate occasions. Moreover, she has assaulted 10 more children at the Ratby pre-school nursery but so far no action has been taken against this kid.

Parents have been complaining but Chucky hasn’t been expelled. It’s obvious the girl has a history of beating up kids. She seems totally out-of-control. What I find scary is the fact that she’s only 2 year old. What would she do later on? However, police were called to investigate about the assault but they couldn’t do anything either as she’s below the age of criminal responsibility.

The father of Katie Mr. Guttridge said: 'I was horrified that my daughter has been exposed to such violence in a place which should be safe. I understand the police can't do anything because of the girl's age but the nursery should expel her.' The nursery has around 26 children aged between two and four years old & besides Katie’s parents even other parents want this girl to be removed as she seems to be a constant threat to other kids.

Clara Mackow (the mother) is now preparing to take legal action against the nursery claiming negligence. As no one was around when this incident happened but Katie says when she was beaten up, other kids backed up Chucky.

‘I am not doing this for the money, I just want parents to be aware that when they drop their children at nursery or pre-school they should not blindly believe they will be safe,’ said Clara.

Another mother, whose son was also beaten up by the girl, said: 'The little girl is a nightmare. If there's a child who has been hurt the other mums and dads always say "has Chucky been at it again? It's no laughing matter for the kids though, they are terrified of this little girl who has a really vicious streak…She's terrorizing the other kids and the staff don't lift a finger to stop her.'

I seriously wonder how the story of this Chucky will end. Or maybe just like violent Chucky in Child’s Play, she will go on terrorizing kids forever. As I see it, this child has serious issues. I don’t think they can treat her at any stage. She’s born this way & she will, most probably, stay this way. Such kids never change. Perhaps scientists should study her brain. I know that sounds mean but we have a confirmed psycho here. And this one hurts so badly at the age of two. It’s a natural thing for her to go on hurting people. I’m so sorry to say but her real place is not pre-school; it’s actually mental asylum.

Sir Paul McCartney Is Marrying For The Third Time

Sir Paul McCartney has decided to tie the knot for the third time with his girlfriend, Nancy Shevell. The two had been dating for the last four years. His spokesperson has confirmed the news.

Sir Paul is 68 years old and Ms. Shevell is 51 years old. Both were married before for longer time span.

Paul McCartney was married to an American photographer - Linda Eastman for 29 years and had three kids with her. They were together till she died from breast cancer in 1998. He cherishes Linda to date and is happy that Nancy understands how significant a part she is of his life even after her death. He later married British model Heather Mills in 2002 which ended in a high profile divorce in 2008.

Nancy Shevell was married to a lawyer for more than 20 years. And later got into a relationship with Sir Paul.

Well, we hope they have a super cool marriage. They both sound mature from their details and look fairly happy in each other's presence. I don't think there is any age to fall in love or settle down with, if one has met somebody right. When both the parties feel mutually about one and another then things work out best at any age.

Couple Will Pay For A Baby They Will Never See - Surrogacy Issues

A British couple is very angry with the Child Support Agency and the law when they were forced to pay to a surrogate mother to raise a child they will never see.

The couple chose a single mother of two through a surrogacy website. The wife had six late stage miscarriages and were desperate to have a child. They agreed to pay the surrogate mother some 10,000 pounds but in the middle of her pregnancy she decided to keep the baby.

The judge backed her decision since she was the biological mother of the child even when she broke her promise. The couple knew the child would be emotionally distorted if she would be split into two homes so they agreed ultimately to allow the mother to keep the child and keep half of the money they had given her already for her service. However, the couple are angry that they have to pay some 600 pounds every month to raise the baby girl since the husband is the biological father anyway.

The couple are upset that though they have no right to see the child yet it is unfair to pay every month to raise this child. The baby was supposed to be the couple's yet she decided half way to keep the baby herself. They think that perhaps it is how this woman makes a living by fooling rich couples.

Well, this is quite sad for the couple. They wanted to have a baby but ended up bearing the responsibility of a child they will not even see. Unfair. Surrogacy agreements are not legally binding in British courts even with a formal contract so the risks of surrogacy can be huge in certain similar cases.

Parents Refuse To Read Fairy Tales To Their Children

Cinderella

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

Rapunzel

It has been revealed that most parents have stopped reading out fairy tales to their children. They think it is politically incorrect to read them out while some say they are frightening.

According to a poll carried out by TheBabyWebsite.com in 2009 with 3000 parents some strange things were discovered. Parents have decided to stop reading classic fairy tales because they were scary and politically incorrect. Read on further and you will know their reasons.

Parents explained that stories like Cinderella and Rapunzel would emotionally damage their kids. Rapunzel was considered too dark while Cinderella was treated like a slave. 1/3 of the parents refused to read Little Red Riding Hood to the kids because she walks through the woods all alone and finds her grandmother eaten by a wolf. While 1 out of 10 parents said that Snow White should be renamed because of the word "dwarf".

However, child development expert, Sally Blythe argues that by not reading out fairy tales parents are depriving the mental growth of their children because these stories teach them moral values. Kids learn the difference between right and wrong. These stories have helped kids previously in solving things through their own thinking and creativity rather than following some set instructions.

These stories prepare children for the realities of life not directly but through implications. They understand that strengths and weaknesses are a normal part of human nature. They understand the difference between good and evil, rich and poor, vanity and valour. Parents are hampering their growth by their decision to not read out classic fairy tales to their children.

Blythe went on to express in her book that fairy tales teach children that good should win over the bad. They learn the moral values from them and become strong enough to develop their lives by facing the realities.

She said the dwarfs in Snow White show that one must look beyond how one appears because what may not be so pleasant in appearance may be very kind from within in comparison to very beautiful people who might have ugly hearts. While in Goldylocks, the girl identified herself with the smallest and weakest of characters the most, which is perfectly normal. We must accept how we are. And Cinderella's story prepares children for life after your parent's death.

Well, I think Sally Blythe is pretty right when she says these stories do help children in better understanding of life. It builds a sensible side in them and not just make an instruction based robots out of kids. This is the reason why children are becoming so mean, selfish and materialistic perhaps in the younger generations. Maybe this is why kids today feel it is ok to do the wrong thing because it is so much easier and fun rather than being truthful and having some principles.

Parents really need to re-think their stance. I mean there must be a reason why these classics were taught and read to children for years and years. They worked fine on millions of kids before so what's so wrong with them now?

Education Emergency

Pakistan is suffering an education emergency, with at least 25 million children denied their constitutional right to an education.

Few of those children who do go to school receive the quality education they need to prosper in the modern world. The economic impact of the emergency is catastrophic – billions of rupees a year – while the human cost is much greater.

Let’s join together to force Pakistan’s leaders to finally get serious about providing every child with a decent school and a committed teacher. Sign our petition to make ending the education emergency the country’s no 1 priority.

3 Reasons for signing this petition

  • Because the cost of not educating Pakistan is the equivalent of one flood per year.
  • Because we have the money. 26 countries are poorer than Pakistan but are able to send more children to school.
  • Because a country cannot thrive in the modern world without educating its children. It is a fundamental right under our constitution.

To Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Chief Ministers

We call on you to make education your number one priority in 2011 – the Year of Education – and to set out plans for giving every child their constitutional right to education. At a time of fiscal crisis, we ask you protect education budgets and to explain how, and when, they can be increased to at least 4% of GDP.

http://educationemergency.com.pk/

Education is the right of every kid. Please sign this petition. It won’t even take a minute. Thank you so much!

One child dies every minute in Pakistan

This is what I just read on Tribune. The report says that one child dies every minute from EPI (expanded program on immunisation diseases), diarrhea and acute respiratory infection (ARI). Moreover, 400,000 infants die in their first year, which indicates that we have a very depressing health situation in Pakistan.

One ought to give it serious attention, but I don’t think we have the resources. One among 10 children will die before reaching the age of 5 & one among 30 die immediately after they are born. This is incredibly depressing.

Pneumonia & air pollution are the 2 major factors affecting the health of children. Moreover, we don’t have proper child healthcare facilities as such in rural areas & naturally lack of such facilities makes it all the more worse. Maternal, newborn and child health care statistics in Pakistan are some of the poorest in South Asia.

Majority of children suffer from the respiratory ailments, cause they are most vulnerable thanks to their weakened malnutrition. You won’t be surprised to know that children are also suffering from hepatitis and their number is growing sharply. They also suffer from malarial diseases. Diarrhea is rampant, thanks to contaminated water in our country. It is estimated that about 20 per cent of diarrhea patients are children. Similarly, diseases like dysentery, scabies, dengue, goiter are also on the rise.

Infant mortality rate is pretty high in this country & this is quite a grim picture. Children are the future & so many don’t even survive.

Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani

This is a strange love story. A couple reunited after 70 long years. This is the real life story of Ethel Doby and Bill  Thompson who first met in 1934 through mutual friends. They became quite close that year and spent lots of time together.

Ethel remembered that Bill was a bit slow and disappeared for some time suddenly after spending so much time together. When he came back after some time and asked her to marry him, Ethel was already going out with someone else. Then Ethel and Bill never talked again for 70 years.

They lost all contact and in a few years they both met their spouses. They had reasonably successful married lives with a few children. Today they both have grandchildren and a few great grand children as well. They spent these years working and spending time with their families.

Ethel's husband died in 1964 though and since then she never re-married again. It was in 2004, that Bill missed Ethel once again after his wife passed away. He started wondering if she was alive. He started searching for her and somebody knew where Ethel lived. So, Bill called Ethel up in 2006 and asked if he could meet her up for an hour.

They met and talked but not for an hour. Since then they have been together as great friends and companions. They are both 94 years old now but they love each other's company. They say they often talk like they are very young. They dated again after all these years. Ethel was very nervous because she had not dated anyone in the last 40 years after her husband's death.

Well, I totally think this is one strange love story (Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani) completely. I thought they got separated cause of some war but when I read the story it was purely their own decision. They met, they fell in love, the guy disappeared, the girl met someone else, when he came back to marry her she was not ready and then they lived happy lives. And then after 70 years they met again because there was something between them. The connection was always there. I guess it true that one does get back to his or her first love then. Anyhow, it also opens the door of hope for many who wish to re unite with their loved ones soon.

Hrithik Supports Save A Heart Campaign

Hrithik Roshan is not only incredibly handsome and perhaps the only BEAUTIFUL actor that Hindi cinema has seen for quite some time but what makes him different is the fact that is genuinely a good person. He does not pretend to be nice unlike many actors on screen but rather believes in doing things.

An interesting fact about Hrithik is that due to his super hero persona in films like Krishh he is very famous amongst kids. He also once said that unlike many actors his fan following lies mostly with the senior citizens and the very young audience, which is something that not many super stars can claim either.

Anyhow, Hrithik is now part of a very good cause and campaign that is being run by Seven Hills Medical Foundation (SHMF) which is known as "Save A Heart Programme". The head of SHMF is somebody who knows Hrithik and his family and approached them if Hrithik could be the face of this campaign since he is very popular amongst kids. Hrithik agreed immediately.

Through this program they want to create awareness about open heart surgeries. In fact, Hrithik not only agreed to be part of the marketing and face on the hoardings, he donated 15 lak for the cause which will help the surgery and care of 10 children immediately.

Poor people will benefit from this campaign as they won't have to run here and there for the treatment of their newly born children. Each operation costs about Rs. 1.5 lak and if somebody donates this amount he or she can sponsor or adopt one child in this way.

It is a good cause and Hrithik has gracefully and generously supported it. This is what we really like about this man.
