Rob Lowe shirtless on Vanity Fair Cover!

Rob Lowe’s Vanity Fair Cover can seriously make your day. This man is 47 & still looks really hot without his shirt.

The cover shot has been taken by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In the interview for the May edition of the magazine Rob shares extracts from his book Stories I Only Tell My Friends: An Autobiography.

On Tom Cruise: “He’s open, friendly, funny, and has an almost robotic, bloodless focus and an intensity that I’ve never encountered before,” Lowe remembers. He describes a scene in which he’s taken aback by the accommodations provided for them at a New York City hotel — but because they had to share rooms, Cruise called his agent to make sure it was okay. “Zeroed in like a laser,” is how Lowe describes him at the time.

On Charlie Sheen, whom Rob was rumored to be in the running to replace on Two and a Half Men: he’s a “one-of-a-kind… a Polo preppy clotheshorse in a world of O.P. shorts and surf T-shirts,” and describes his unique personality as “a wonderful mix of nerd… and rebel.” His home, thanks in part to the success of his legendary father Martin Sheen, boasted “never-ending Häagen-Dazs, brand-new BMWs, a lagoon pool with underwater tunnels, and a lit, professional-grade basketball half-court.” Charlie said of Rob: “He’s a buddy of mine, he’s a beautiful man, a brilliant actor, and I hope he does it and kicks its ass because I still get [paid].”

On Patrick Swayze: he’s “as cool as you want, wearing tight jeans and a tattered, sleeveless Harley-Davidson T-shirt revealing his massive, ripped arms. (This is his uniform, he never changes it, and if I looked like him, neither would I.)”

Anyway, it’s pretty obvious that Rob Lowe has only good things to say about people & some media people just don’t like it. They believe he has to work with them, so he can’t say anything mean. I can’t recall Rob Lowe ever getting into shitty episodes. Maybe this is exactly how he feels about them. It’s okay if he doesn’t tell us everything. And why do we always expect some bitchy revelations from celebrities? Moreover, some people also have issues that he’s promoting his book in this interview.

I like Rob Lowe but as such I don’t like this cover. I think he has looked far more sexier & this is just an okay picture. And his blue eyes are very beautiful.
