Health Officials stop sales of Breast Milk Ice cream

This is one bizarre news. First of all I wonder who came with this million dollar idea & I’m really amused that there are clients who are willing to pay £14 ($22.50) for this delicious, daring treat.

Anyway, the officials have confiscated Baby Gaga ice cream. In fact, the product had been removed from the stores as well. It was launched last week. The ice cream sold out as soon as it was launched on Friday.

Matt O'Connor, founder of The Icecreamists said that "As far as we are aware there is no law prohibiting a business from selling breast milk ice cream," and that the company had had a "huge response" to the new product line.

I have never been against experiments of any kind. This sounds weird to me but I’m sure there are people who don’t mind having this kind of daring dessert. But there are certain health hazards. How could that be ignored? There is a huge question mark on edibles made from bodily fluids. Everyone cannot approve of such ideas. They will find it dirty, & more importantly, there is risk. No matter how crazy one is, no one wants to get infected. This is dangerous & the idea is not that much fun either.

As of now, the product is being thoroughly tested with full cooperation from the producers, The Icecreamists. The company insists that the milk was screened in line with blood donor requirements before it was processed. But this further testing is required before it could be put back in the market. Which means clients are waiting for this product.
