70 metallic ancient books have been found in a cave in Jordan. It is believed that these could date back to over 2000 years and might just be the earliest Christian scriptures. So, it is possible these are a major discovery in Christian history.
The books are small about the size of a credit card. The lead pages are bound with wire. They have symbols that may refer the Messiah, Crucifixion and Resurrection. Perhaps they could change the way we look at Biblical history till this day.
Experts feel their discovery could be a huge breakthrough after the findings of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. They think these books could be the lost collection of codices that were mentioned in the Bible's Book Of Revelation.
The books were discovered some five years ago in a cave in Jordon to which Christian refugees hid after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 Ad.
Well, if the experts are really right about this discovery, these 70 books could be quite significant in revealing lots of things about Christianity and the Biblical history.
