I think 2 days ago, I read that Israel has put a ban on ultra thin models to crack down on eating disorders. In fact it’s the 1st country to ban underweight models from catwalks & commercials. I wonder if that is going to help out those who’ve got eating disorders. This problem cannot just vanish away by banning thin models. I think it’s a serious problem & people around the person are responsible for making it such a huge issue. They never get tired of reminding you about your weight. Whether you’re thin or fat, people will always have issues. Even though it’s none of their business, but they butt in.
But nevertheless I’ve seen that Israel takes certain steps much before others & that’s a good thing. Last year they even put a ban on cat declawing.
I just hope they don’t make heavy weight champions the next sexy.
