Tulip Joshi says she has done films like Matrubhoomi where she was a victim of female infanticide and Dhoka where she was a victim of crime.
In fact she likes doing films which are realistic and have some social message too. Hostel attracted her because it is based on a social evil, which is prevalent in India and it should be stopped.
Hostel seems to have an excellent storyline & it’s a good way to educate people as to how students are being abused by their seniors in the name of ragging.
