He never really bothered about winning awards which is why he took a stance many years ago when he refrained from attending award shows and ceremonies.

His movies last year ranged from being block busters to semi hits to even a flop but critically his acting was appreciated.
Ajay is now seen talking to the press about his new movies. He doesn't pretend much and answers about things smartly. He is happy with his success but openly said that whether Hollywood or Bollywood, it is a fact that the film industry is run by the old men and not the boys.
This is what Ajay said:
"This is why I always say that men will be men, I remember telling someone that whatever be the case, the fact is that industry tou buddhe he chala rahe hain (that industry is being ruled by the old men)."
This is quite true if we analyze Bollywood where Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan himself and then others like Amitabh Bachchan are the people whom the audience love the most.
