Chitrangada Singh has moved to Mumbai and is becoming more of a commercial actress now. She was earlier seen in a few but good movies like Hazaron Khwaishein and Sorry Bhai. She didn't really get to work that much. It seems now she has lots of work to take care of.
She will be working in Desi Boyz with Akshay Kumar and is excited to do lots comedy, dancing and romance on screen. She is looking forward to all that because she has not really touched these elements of cinema as yet.
But this means she will have to put in a lot of efforts. Acting opposite Akshay Kumar is not easy either. Especially dancing along with him is quite a challenge too. Most actors don't look that amazing while dancing on screen...remember how Bipasha Basu used to dance when she first tried her hands at dancing. John Abraham too sucked at dancing completely initially.
Chitrangada is often asked if is she opting for all this commercialism because of peer pressure but she mocks that she is quite excited that with Desi Boyz she is getting the chance to play an important leading lady and she is looking forward to it.
Well, she would be excited all right. She hardly got any roles before so she would be excited obviously. But the last performance of hers in Yeh Saali Zindagi was quite a disappointment. Let's see how well this commercial move would turn out to be for Chitrangada.
