Now Olivia Wilde thinks she’s too sexualized

The joke of the century is that Olivia Wilde thinks she is too sexualized to play Linda Lovelace. She herself keeps mentioning the word sex & then think people are stupid enough not to notice anything. Most probably she has some sort of insecurity that’s why she keeps talking about sex in every interview. She happens to cover the April issue of GQ UK. As of now, she’s promoting her film Butter.

Anyhow, in the April issue of British GQ, she explains as to why she thinks she has been too sexualized:

“I was very sexually mature at a very young age,” Wilde says. “I was very comfortable with it and talking about it, and once someone hears a young woman speak candidly about sexuality, it’s like, ‘Whoa!’ You get labeled.”

She also wants us to believe that she left the role of Linda Lovelace for a very valid reason:

“I decided that it should go to someone who is not already sexualized by the public — Linda Lovelace was an innocent. Amanda [Seyfried] will do an amazing job.”

We are not sure if she got the role in the first place. In fact, as far as we can recall the initial rumor of her casting came from no other person but herself. In July 2011, she said to E!:

“It would be a tremendous honor. She was a fascinating woman--with where she came from to Deep Throat to then working with Gloria Steinem and Nora Ephron. It's really fascinating."

Btw, Linda Lovelace is in an upcoming biopic of the late American pornographic actress & Amanda Seyfried is the person who will play the character of Linda Lovelace on the screen. I think she can do justice to the role as she’s a much better actor than Olivia Wilde.

Linda Lovelace was famous for her performance of deep throat fellatio in the 1972 hardcore porn film Deep Throat. But later on she denounced her career & she said that she was being forced into it by her first husband & for a short while, she also became a spokesperson for the anti-pornography movement. She died following a car accident in 2002.

I also read this in one of the write-ups:

“Like that sexualization has been FORCED upon her. Like she didn’t actively participate in it. And, just by the way, Amanda Seyfried participates in the sexualization of her image as well. Both women have done barely-clothed photo shoots in men’s magazines, and both women give relatively explicit interviews.”

Naturally the question is: what is she trying to prove? Whatever it is, she is confused herself. Honestly speaking, I seriously wonder if she’s that sexualized as she claims to be. It’s her own imagination. And who cares whether she was way too mature sexually at a young age!

Moreover, she also talked about her divorce from Italian prince Tao Ruspoli.

“We could see it as this wonderful chapter. And anyway, you fall in love again. Oh God, to think that you only fall in love once in your entire life is such a depressing thought.”

Oh she’s too naïve to think so!
