I was shocked when I heard about Whitney Houston’s death in the morning. It’s just unbelievable. She was only 48.
Anyhow, she was found dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Right now they do not know the cause of death.
Life-saving attempts were unsuccessful as she was already dead. Some even speculated that her death must be drug related but nobody knows the real reason as yet & the police said there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent".
Whitney Houston was discovered by record label boss Clive Davis, who once said:
“The time that I first saw her singing in her mother's act in a club... it was such a stunning impact. To hear this young girl breathe such fire into this song. I mean, it really sent the proverbial tingles up my spine.”
Who wouldn’t agree with him! She had the most beautiful & amazing voice. However, her voice became hoarse, owing to drug use in the recent years. In fact she had a troubled life. Her marriage to Bobby Brown was a disaster & it ended in divorce.
Whitney Houston once told ABC’s Diane Sawyer in an interview:
"The biggest devil is me. I'm either my best friend or my worst enemy.”
Nevertheless she would remain a legend & her death is indeed a big loss. May her soul rest in peace! She will always be missed.
