Facebook launches 60 new apps for Timeline

Facebook has launched 60 apps for Timeline, its new profile page, which allows people to listen to music, watch movies and buy cars within the site.

They are saying timeline apps are basically designed to help people share activities with their chosen friends. And you’ve got to download Timeline in order to update your profile on FB.

Mark Zuckerberg explained the thinking behind Timeline: “Millions of people curate stories of their lives on Facebook every day and have no way to share them once they fall off your profile page...we have been working on ‘timeline’ all year…it’s the story of your life and completely new way to express yourself. It has three pieces: all your stories, your apps and a new way to express who you are.”

I don’t find it weird but I don’t see the need to have your entire life on FB. I think FB has become quite boring. Anyway, they keep on introducing new things, which is good. Although people do complain about these changes in the beginning, but they get used to it eventually.
