This is a beautiful, romantic rain song. I don't think I need to say anything about Namak Halal. Almost everyone I know has seen this comedy film, which was released in 1982.

I think everything about this movie is good. Great cast. Good music. Good story line. It's sure to make you laugh even today.
Whenever it rains, everyone scribbles mausam hai ashiqana& also sings it...everyone feels the same way & we get to see the same status every time it rains. It's getting boring.
It's so strange no one ever feels or has the urge to say: 'Aaj rapat jayen tou hamein na uthaiyyo, aaj pisal jayen tou hamein na uthaiyyo' when it rains :P
Every stanza has some treasure you know...it's weird that no one ever has bothered to notice.
