A very cute story of baby fox & three kittens

Well a little fox has made friends with three kittens at Kent Wildlife Rescue centre. Actually this baby fox had an accident & he had severe head injuries. They didn’t even expect him to survive. While he was unconscious, they put him in the same enclosure with three kittens. And that was the beginning of this cute story. Naturally the fox has developed a very special bond with his three pals.

Lorraine St John, 40, who runs the rescue centre, said:

“The biggest killer you get at animal shelters is not the injuries or illness but stress. It is so important to create comfort for the animals as it really makes the difference to their survival. That is what happened in this case - we put the three kittens with the fox and they became best friends. It was very sweet, the cats needed something to snuggle up to and they loved his fur. One of them used to lick him all the time as he slowly came out of his coma. Once awake the four of them became best friends and the kittens acted like a guiding light to the fox as he regained his sight.”

And I won’t say humans need to learn something from animals, cause they just can’t. Beyond any reasonable doubt, animals represent pure form of love. It’s not the first time, we have seen such impossible friendship.

A lot of people think one is wasting time on animals if one is animal lover, but it’s not so. It’s the most beautiful experience. You get so much positive energy by being with them.

Anyhow, they have sent the cub to Fox Protect in Tunbridge Wells before he can be released back into the wild. And the kittens are waiting to be adopted.

I read one of the comments in which this person presumed that the fox could have harmed the kittens. Accidents can happen anytime. You may take 101 precautions but you never know what will happen to you or your pet the next minute. I think it’s sheer stupidity to think a calamity might hit another being.
