I’ve been a little confused. During the interview, Eamonn Holmes asked Crystal Warren as to why she didn’t turn to prostitution as she needs to have sex five or six times a day. And people have been shocked out of their wits (I know it’s an exaggeration but who cares!)
Whatever I’m going to say I know cannot change the situation of prostitutes anywhere in the world. The thing which bothers me a bit is that I have a feeling that it’s not just Eamonn Holmes but also people who have insulted sluts as they all look down on them without looking at themselves & at this rotten society. Everyone wants everyone to work. Right? So far as I can see, sluts are also working; it’s another thing they sell their bodies. Why do people look down on them in the first place? I don’t want to get into that crappy argument that prostitution is the oldest institution. All I know is that sluts exist cause you want them.
Coming back to the woman who claims to have slept with more than 1000 men - she has been pretty clear that she enjoys sex & once men get tired of her, she knows it’s going to end. I really don’t understand what’s the bloody fucking problem. She’s obsessed with sex & she’s cool about it. She doesn’t believe in having any kind of control whatsoever. Honestly, I think she ought to use the word habit rather than addiction. Addiction is something that takes us away from reality; addicts are escapists. Most of them are either angry or very much hurt. Crystal Warren is no way an escapist. It’s another thing she’s not proud of herself & has a low self-esteem. Although she’s giving interviews everywhere but maybe she’s not completely honest. Maybe there is some history, which is missing or maybe she has no clue as to what she wants. She needs a shrink but even a good psychiatrist cannot help if you hide stuff from him.
And about Holmes – I have just one thing to say that closed minded people such as Maya Khan are present everywhere on this planet. Holmes is another Maya Khan. He didn’t bother to educate himself about addiction. He doesn’t know the difference between what’s professional & what’s personal. He suggested a stupid idea & people went off their heads as they’ve got nothing better to do. It’s so easy for them to use the word illegal for what whores do. Do they ever use the word illegitimate for their narrow way of looking at everything they consider dirty?
All over the world, people are suffering in different ways. Crystal Warren & Holmes are not even pathetic enough to be placed in some useless museum.
