I like this song but the video is disgusting, to put it mildly. In the entire song, Sanjay Dutt is just fiddling with that poor knife. He looks so stupid.
All credit goes to Sukhwinder & Sunidhi whereas Sanjay Dutt & that Mitra woman have done their best to spoil the song. Anyhow, it starts off very nicely. It's really deep when he says peena ko meray peena na kaho, yun bhi tou ibadat hoti hai.
That line aa pass aa, rahe na jaaye koi khwaahish baqi is very catchy.
Needless to say par kya baat hai: ishq tou mera khuda hai, aashiq mera naam hai!But still not many will call themselves Aashiq :P
Everyone doesn't get intoxicated but the bar tender has a point: 'Woh sharabi kya sharabi jo nashay mein rahay hai. Woh sharabi kya sharabi aisay jo touba karey.' But I don't agree with the part 'dil mein jis kay gham na ho.' Why would anyone try to escape in another world if he's not saddened? And those who drink just for the heck of it are really not worth any discussion.
