All I can say is that it's a beautiful song! Very romantic & sweet!
Sangam was a super duper hit & it is still considered classic even today. And they are pioneers who started off shooting in places such Paris, Venice & Switzerland. Later on it became a trend in Bollywood to use foreign locations for shooting & now they do that quite religiously in almost every movie. The story line of Sangam is okay. It's about two childhood friends & they fell in love with the same girl.
I think both Vyjatantimala & Rejendra Kumar look fine but Mr. Raj Kapoor behaves as a little boy in the song Oh Mehbooba teray dil kay pass hee meri manzil maqsood. It's a beautiful song. I just love listening to it but I can't think of watching it ever. In fact I thought about posting that song but then I changed my mind. You know Raj Kapoor looks more like an uncle & it's very irritating to see him behaving as a teenager. Anyhow, all the songs are beautiful. Dost dost na raha is very deep & painful. Har dil jo pyaar kare ga is also nice. But it hurts when Gopal i.e. Rajendra Kumar commits suicide in the end. There was no need of it but he had to make a sacrifice.
I heard a lot about this movie from my parents cause they got married in 1964 & Bol Radha Bol had been their favorite song.
