Jean Dujardin Under Fire For Racy Movie Poster

French actor Jean Dujardin, who has been nominated for a Best Actor at the upcoming Oscar for his performance in The Artist, is at the centre of a controversy over an advertising campaign for his latest film, Les Infidèles, (The Adulterers). In fact, these posters have been taken down in Paris, because they are too provocative. These posters show both Jean Dujardin and Gilles Lellouche in sexual positions (which can be taken as compromising positions) & that has degraded women, which is why the posters have been pulled down.

One image shows Lellouche on the telephone as a woman kneels in front of him & the poster is captioned: 'It's going to cut out, I'm just entering a tunnel'.

In the other advert a woman's legs are in the air and are being held by Jean Dujardin. It says: 'I'm just going into a meeting'.

The movie Les Infideles or The Players is a comedy about adultery, which means the movie revolves around adulterous men & such 'racy, crass or vulgar' posters only depict the true nature of the film. You can’t actually come up with a refined sort of caption or poster for this kind of movie I suppose. Moreover, it clearly indicates they have no sense of humor. And just come to think of it, these captions & posters are nothing as compared to what we see & read on websites on a daily basis. I’m sure even this will be too much for the French public:

“I want to suck you, lick you, wanna move my tongue all over you, wanna feel you in my mouth…Yep that’s how you eat an ice cream.”

Anyhow, this movie will hit the theaters in France on February 29.
