4 year old walks again

Grace Matthews, of MIle Cross, Norwich, lost her legs, fingers, half a thumb of her left hand & half a palm of her right hand after contracting meningitis. It’s a life threatening disease & it leads to serious long term consequences if it’s not treated at the right time.

Anyway Grace is just 4 year old. However, she was inspired to walk again after meeting Matthew Newbury, who has bionic prosthetic leg system. He’s the 1st person in UK who has received bionic prosthetic legs. Naturally he has been a real source of inspiration for Grace.

Again this has been a wonderful Christmas gift for her parents but we give full points to Grace who was determined to walk again no matter what. Although she’s just 4, but she’s far more impressive than many adults as she was able to take this decision. It requires a lot of will power & strength to do the impossible & this little girl has done that.

Grace's mom Vicky said: 'We are really, really proud of her. She is unbelievable. It is amazing how she gets through everything. It is like to her there is nothing wrong. She is a very inspiring, very strong little girl. We get a lot of our strength from her. Grace had to fight for her life after being rushed to hospital with a temperature, sickness and a rash all over her body less than a year ago.'

I’m sure everyone is proud of Grace & we are really happy for her. God bless her!

This has been another cute story, so I couldn’t help sharing it. And those who have lost all hope can learn something from this 4 year old. It’s never too late.
