Some people from the fashion world are having issues with Kate Upton who has been lately Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model. I believe you have the right to criticize the cover but I don’t think anyone has the right to openly insult Kate Upton after seeing her pictures.
Sophia Neophitou is the woman who has made some really rude statements regarding Kate. Btw, she is the editor in chief and founder of UK fashion magazine 10, the former creative director of Harper’s Bazaar UK, and a consultant for Antonio Berardi, Roland Mouret, and Elie Saab. She’s definitely a big shot but when you will read her statement, you’re going realize that this woman has no class whatsoever.
“We would never use” Ms. Upton for a Victoria’s Secret show, Ms. Neophitou said by telephone last week from London. And, while Ms. Upton has, in fact, modeled on occasion for the company’s catalog, her look, said Ms. Neophitou, is “too obvious” to be featured in what has become the most widely viewed runway show in the world.
“She’s like a Page 3 girl,” Ms. Neophitou said, referring to the scantily clad voluptuous women featured in The Sun, a London tabloid. “She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.”
Extremely rude! This kind of criticism is just not acceptable. She sounds more like Shobha De. What does she mean by you can buy that kind of face if you have enough money & that Kate looks like a footballer’s wife with too blonde hair? She doesn’t have to use Kate for Victoria’s Secret show but she doesn’t have to act like a bitch. Even when you know someone, you don’t make this kind of statement & that too in the media. What the hell was she thinking?
Kate Upton may look trashy but Sophia Neophitou has no right to judge her. How could she talk about buying a person? She’s too low, to put it mildly. And when you will look at the pictures of Sophia, you won’t even notice anything. Maybe that’s why she’s all set against sluts or her alter ego believes in human trafficking. I don’t know but this is certainly not the way to criticize any model. Kate Upton has the right to take off her clothes but that doesn’t allow Sophia to cross all the limits of indecency & blabber inappropriate & unrefined things about the model.
Most men would love Kate Upton. No one would have time to look at Sophia unless of course they want some favors.
